The Student Experience at San Miguel

Student leadership at San Miguel empowers students to be active contributors to the life of the school while developing the skills of communication, collaboration, and servant leadership. Through opportunities such as Student Council, peer leadership, and campus ministry, students learn to lead with integrity and make a positive impact on their community.

San Miguel offers a variety of clubs and activities that allow students to explore their interests, discover new passions, and build meaningful relationships. These opportunities enrich the student experience by fostering creativity, leadership, and a strong sense of belonging beyond the classroom.

School events and traditions create lasting memories while strengthening school spirit and community. From spirit weeks and pep rallies to cultural celebrations and school-wide gatherings, these experiences help students build pride in being part of the San Miguel family.

Rooted in our Lasallian commitment to faith, service, and social justice, students participate in service projects that encourage them to respond to the needs of others with compassion and action. The El Otro Lado (EOL) immersion experience provides students with a deeper understanding of migration, human dignity, and the call to advocate for those on the margins.

Senior traditions celebrate the accomplishments, friendships, and growth of the graduating class while marking important milestones in their final year. Events such as Senior Sunrise, Senior Friendsgiving, Homecoming Court, and the Senior Sunset Lock-In provide opportunities for reflection, celebration, and the creation of lifelong memories as students prepare for their next chapter.
