Our Catholic Identity

Growing in Faith, Learning to Serve.

San Miguel High School’s Lasallian Catholic identity is rooted in the mission of St. John Baptist de La Salle, centered on forming a community where faith, service, and education come together to transform lives. As a Lasallian school, we are guided by the Five Core Principles—Faith in the Presence of God, Respect for All Persons, Inclusive Community, Quality Education, and Concern for the Poor and Social Justice—which shape every aspect of our school culture and student experience.

At the heart of this identity is the belief that every person is created with dignity and purpose and is invited into a deeper relationship with God and others. All members of the San Miguel community—students, families, and staff—are welcomed into a journey of faith formation, where questions are encouraged, growth is supported, and spiritual development is nurtured in a way that meets each person where they are.
