Campus Ministry

Eucharistic and non-eucharistic liturgies foster a vibrant culture of prayer and worship that brings the San Miguel community together in the presence of God. Through school Masses, prayer services, sacramental celebrations, and opportunities for personal and communal prayer, students are invited to deepen their relationship with Christ while recognizing the sacredness of everyday life. Rooted in the Lasallian tradition, liturgical experiences cultivate gratitude, belonging, and reverence, helping students celebrate their faith, honor the diversity of the community, and experience the Gospel as a living reality that unites us as one family.

The Retreat program provides intentional opportunities for every grade level and staff to step away from the demands of daily life and encounter God, themselves, and one another in meaningful ways. Through intentionally designed age-appropriate retreat experiences, students are encouraged to reflect on their personal stories, relationships, values, and faith journeys. Retreats create spaces for honesty, healing, discernment, and growth, challenging students to deepen their understanding of who they are and who God is calling them to become. By fostering reflection and authentic community, retreats support the development of compassionate leaders who are grounded in faith and committed to living with purpose.

The Service program empowers students to live the Gospel call to love through concrete acts of compassion, justice, and solidarity. Inspired by the Lasallian commitment to concern for the poor and social justice, students engage in service experiences that foster empathy, challenge assumptions, and deepen their awareness of the needs of others. Service is understood not simply as completing hours, but as a transformative encounter that forms students to recognize the dignity of every person and their responsibility to contribute to the common good. Through reflection and action, students learn that faith is expressed through service and that lasting change begins with a commitment to accompany others with humility and respect.

The Formation program provides ongoing opportunities for students to develop as whole persons—intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and socially—throughout their time at San Miguel High School. Rooted in the Lasallian tradition, formation recognizes that education is a lifelong journey of growth and transformation. Through intentional experiences in faith development, leadership, character education, relationship-building, and reflection, students are challenged to deepen their understanding of themselves, their values, and their responsibilities to others. Formation equips students with the skills and dispositions necessary to navigate life's challenges with wisdom, integrity, and resilience. By fostering habits of reflection, service, and continual learning, the program helps students become thoughtful leaders, compassionate community members, and faith-filled individuals who are prepared to respond to God's call throughout their lives.

The Vocation program helps students discover that every person is uniquely created and called by God for a purpose. Through prayer, reflection, mentorship, and exposure to diverse paths of service and leadership, students are encouraged to discern their gifts, passions, and responsibilities in the world. Grounded in the Lasallian understanding that vocation extends beyond careers or professions, this program invites students to consider how they are called to live lives of faith, integrity, and service. By strengthening moral and spiritual discernment, students learn to listen attentively to God’s voice, make thoughtful decisions, and embrace their role as leaders who contribute positively to their families, communities, and the Church.
