QUALITY EDUCATION

AT SAN MIGUEL HIGH SCHOOL

  • Mr. Smith is the best teacher ever – the stuff he teaches is actually useful!

  • In Art, with Ms. Schwindenhammer, I learned to express myself through my art and with the way I think.

  • Mr. Moskal has shown me that you can learn without using a lot of paper, but through the power of technology.

  • I think that Brother Dat rocks!  He pushes me to find out answers and take notes!

  • My great educational experience here so far is with Ms. Goodwin when I finally understood Math for the first time.

  • Mrs. Gordon has been very helpful in making all the work understandable and with her extra help.

  • In English class with Ms. Villanueva, we had a discussion on a girl’s wardrobe and how it changes people’s point of view of girls. It really got me to think on how I put myself out there just by what I wear.   It  is important to be to be known as educated and respectful, but I don’t want people to judge immediately by what I wear.

  • I liked that in Ms. Mejia-Garcia’s class we had to perform a dance about a culture other than our own.  It taught me to be open to new experiences and to try out new things.

  • Ms. Schwindenhammer taught me that everyone can be good at some aspect of art and that you shouldn’t worry about other people’s criticism towards you.  She taught me to never give up my dreams.

  • The great thing so far was studying about worms with Brother Dan.

  • Ms. Meija-Garcia uses different learning techniques that help me learn more about speaking Spanish and about different Spanish speaking countries.

  • Ms. Goodwin helped me understand, showed me step by step, and had patience.

THANKS TO STUDENTS FOR SHARING THEIR QUALITY EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES, AND THANKS TO ALL THE TEACHERS AT SAN MIGUEL FOR HELPING MAKE QUALITY EDUCATION POSSIBLE!
