∙ More Green Paperless ∙ Advertise. Word of mouth is important -Collect from student’s binders & paper before they throw it away. CANNOT FORGET THE NEEDS OF THE STUDENTS
Spiritual ∙ Preserve Lasallian charism. -Not be hesitant to use ministry resources (split Lasallian collection between Library and campus ministry). ∙ Advocacy for parents supported by school. - Outreach to families. - Offer days of recollection - Create ownership and welcome to families. - Training and inservice for volunteer teachers to augment staff. ∙ Balance between faith and action ∙ Embracing everyone ∙ Constant journey ∙ Stewards of Lasallian ideas: “being called”
Role of being partners with the brothers ∙ Plant seeds to carry on mission. ∙ Responsible for formation to carry out the mission (local, district, and regional level). ∙ Lasllian formation for parent association. ∙Expand Lasallian ideas throughout the curriculum. ∙ SOCIALS!! Eat and drink to form community. ∙ Vocational ministry emphasis.
How do we continue to improve? ∙ Create student buy-in (i.e. help create lessons with their ideas). ∙ Make real world connections in lessons/units. ∙ Preparedness, organization, and rules. ∙ Higher expectation of students. ∙ Weekly faculty check-ins. ∙ Have Lasallian Schools at the middle school level. ∙ Open to establishing curriculum.
