San Miguel High School is a Catholic, college preparatory high school located in the heart of Tucson’s economically-disadvantaged south side, near 12th and Valencia.  San Miguel provides a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum that will ensure our graduates’ admission to most colleges and universities.  Under the charism of the Christian Brothers, the school operates with an unqualified belief in the dignity of its students and their right to learn in a loving and safe environment complimented by a rigorous academic and work standard.  A significant facet of the school is a unique corporate internship program for all students that provides a diverse educational experience to prepare students for the future.  Each student spends five days each month working in an entry-level position in a Tucson business.  Their wages help offset the cost of their tuition, thereby providing the means to provide this opportunity to students whose families could not otherwise afford it.

San Miguel High School is an Equal Opportunity institution.  The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, age, disability, veteran status, religion, color, or national origin in the administration of any of its educational programs, activities, or with respect to admission or employment.  The school, through its Affirmative Action Plan, seeks to employ highly qualified personnel on an equal opportunity basis.
